INGREDIENTS
- 4-6 cups water, more as needed, depending on the size of your pot

1 sliced navel orange (carefully cut ¼ inch thick)

1 sliced Meyer lemon (carefully cut ¼ inch thick)

1 sliced small apple (diced evenly)

1 inch sliced fresh ginger

1 cinnamon stick

3 whole cloves

Pinch of nutmeg
INSTRUCTIONS

Combine: Fill a medium-to-large pot or slow cooker with 4–6 cups of water.

Prepare Fruit: Cut fruit into even slices

Boil & Simmer: Bring the water to a boil, then immediately reduce to the lowest heat setting to maintain a gentle simmer.

Maintain: Check the water level every 60–90 minutes; add more hot water as it evaporates to prevent the ingredients from burning.

Reuse: Once cooled, you can store the mixture in the refrigerator for up to 3 days and reheat it as needed.
